What I have been upto?
Merry Christmas! Christmas was spent with my parents and their dog. It was a low key Christmas eating, drinking and just spending time in each others company. Today we walked to Conwy and had a lovely coffee and thick doorstop toast in The Pen y Bryn tearooms, one of the few dog places cafes that were open. Rest of my boxing day was spent doing some small projects here and there (I am very close to ticking off another thing from my “Goals for 2025” bingo card, and taking a well deserved break.
What I have been enjoying?
Spending time with my partner and my family tends to mean I don’t really consume too much media, but I managed to flick briefly through the latest magazine of Pixel Addict. I read a fun article on the Atari ST, and want to get back to reading the rest, alas I’m not sure when I’m getting the opportunity!
What is upcoming?
Tomorrow I’m planning on doing the Y Promenad parkrun which I talked about doing the first one a few weeks back. Before driving back home to Newton-le-Willows for a curry. Next week I’m going with my partner to see The Moonwalkers exhibition, before seeing in the new year with them. Looking forward to it!
Other than that, I’ll see in the new year with her and her family. They’ve requested a pub quiz, which I’ll look to put together. Then after I kiss her goodbye as she goes back to Romania for the final time before moving back to the UK, I’m going to do a bit of work to take the edge off the first week back.
