What have I been upto?
I’ve been to Scotland! I had a week off to go some travelling, surrounding a wedding which was last Wednesday, so we went from Dundee (where we saw the Lemmings Statue) to Inverary. I’ve eaten well (blog post to follow on that), saw Castle Aaargh, and generally drove through some incredible scenery. We saw Lear in Pitlochry Theatre, seals in Fort William, and the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. I even did a Parkrun to pick up my Scottish badge.
It was a wonderful trip, there are parts of me that are so happy in places like Aberfeldy and Pitlochry where I just feel so relaxed. A wonderful trip.
Here are some photos.

What I have been enjoying?
As part of my Scottish trip we went to watch Lear in Pitlochry theatre. It was an excellent, gender swapped version that had some great cast members. It was very good, a hard watch at times and was emotional towards the end. Hard to follow, what with it being Shakespeare, but it’s all about the meaning, rather than the words. Fantastic. Maureen Beattie was fabulous.
It’s finished now, but the trailer is here.
We finally finished up to the end of For All Mankind (until the final season next year), and it sets it up for a good finale (albeit one I agree with Gordon, in that it gets a wee bit silly in season 5).

Speaking of silly, our next binged show is Ted Lasso and I feel like I’m the last person to discover it. We binged the first season in 2 evenings, and my god it’s fantastic.
The characters are excellent, the subtle sport/football references are excellent (I enjoyed the appearance of Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara in season 2.
What is upcoming?
I’m back into work today. I’m currently losing my car as it needs a few fixes before it’s MOT, and I’ve put my name down for Cricket. Excitingly next weekend my brother and my sister in law are coming up to visit. We’re going to Arcade Club!

Loch Lomond is my neck of the woods, Aberfoyle, Pitlochry, lovely photos!
